Coastal Coaches - The fleet The current fleet of buses are in a smart white with blue skirt and light green roof. The following lists vehicles that have been purchased new, from other operators or dealers during that time since the first coach in 1973. To view pictures, where available, click the thumbnail view where provided, which will bring you a single view or a new page of 4-5 views. You then close that picture window to return to the this page underneath, therefore not losing track of the fleet page itself. The views hopefully for each vehicle, will be previous operator, and in Coastal fleet, Front offside, front nearside, rear offside, rear nearside then anything on different liveries used, subsquent operator and unusual views. Credits. All photographs used on this site were initially used from the personal historical photograph collection, or actually taken by the owner of Coastal Coaches, Peter Jenkins, Peter Lockhart, the site webmasters own material, and where known, credited here, these include some company views. Grateful thanks therefore to Paul Gainsbury (Hastings), James Luke (Hastings), Ben Jenkins (Okehampton), C J Hart (Bracknell), R. Cook (Hastings), Mervyn Stedman (Southwick), H.J.Thomas, John Marsh (Hastings), M&D and East Kent Bus Club, particularly to James Luke for his early contributions to this site at its inception, on the more recent vehicles, and for assistance with background information, along with Paul Gainsbury. Should anyone request their views are NOT to be used, please notify us through the company email contact & the image/s will be removed. Help wanted!. However, there are yet many desired views, both of vehicles & current and of former routes served and would be most welcome, which will gladly be credited accordingly, including any link to a related topic of the photographer. Please, no rally views, other than maybe showing the likes of events attended winning awards, or depot and unusual livery images possibly would be used. Copyright. Both Peter Jenkins & the webmaster hold the copyright to the text, its format, information on the fleet, and company history in these pages, and we would ask you to respect that this fleet list is not to be copied as is, cut/pasted to other sites on the internet or any other publishing material without prior consent. Many hours of work have gone into this site, both compiling data, writing the pages, scanning of over 150 photos, and adapting them as images, thumbnails and links. Fleet Data can be obtained from sources like the PSV Circle for a variety of operators.
